A Few Things to Remember
Before we wrap up, here are a few things I want you to remember as you head into your session:
You don't have to know how to pose.
That's my job. I'll guide you, give you prompts, and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Your kids don't have to behave perfectly.
They're kids. They might run, wiggle, get shy, or need a break. We'll work with them, not against them.
You don't have to look perfect.
You don't need to change your body, fix every little detail, or wait until you feel "photo ready." You are worthy of being in the photographs exactly as you are.
You don't have to smile the entire time.
Some of the most meaningful images are quiet, candid, and full of emotion. You don't always have to look at the camera.
You don't have to make every moment picture-perfect.
The real moments like the belly laughs, messy hair, little hands, cuddles, and chaos are often the ones you'll look back on with the most love.
You are allowed to have fun.
Laugh loudly. Be silly. Dance. Play with your kids. Kiss your person. Forget the camera is there.
And most importantly...
Be present.
These photographs aren't just about what you looked like. They're about who you were together.
Years from now, I want you to look back at your gallery and remember the way your little one fit in your arms, the sound of everyone's laughter, the way your partner looked at you, and what this season of your life felt like.
