How do I know when mini sessions are available?
All mini session announcements go out by email first! You’ll receive a message with the date, time frame, location, and booking link. These are offered on a first come, first serve basis — so the earlier you open your email, the better your chance to grab a spot!

A little of both! Some are planned ahead of time (like model calls or holiday sessions), while others pop up last-minute. Pop up minis usually help me fill last-minute cancellations or time gaps between regular sessions.

Where do mini sessions take place?
The location is chosen by the photographer (that’s me!) and announced in the email. Each spot is handpicked for its light, scenery, and story — think glowing fields, wildflowers, cozy orchards, or scenic Idaho backdrops. I’ll disclose the location in email when I can!

Because mini sessions are shorter, limited, and offered at a reduced rate, the full amount is required at the time of booking to reserve your session. This helps keep things fair and ensures all slots are filled quickly.

What’s included in a mini session?
Every mini session includes a short and sweet time frame (perfect for kids, couples, or quick family updates) and all the edited, high-resolution images that are delivered in your online gallery, ready to download and share.

Can I reschedule after booking?
No, mini sessions must be completed at their booked day and time. Booked mini sessions are considered non-refundable, and refunds will not be provided for no-shows or cancellations. If severe weather prohibits us from completing the session, I will honor the mini on a different day and time.

What if I can't make my appointment?
Due to the short notice and limited availability, mini session payments are non-refundable. However, if you’re unable to attend, you’re always welcome to gift or transfer your spot to a friend or family member.
